HEREAS it is c.spedient to amend the Civil Service 9 c t

Preamble.

lv of 1874, and the Civil Service Act of 1881-Be it

therefore Enacted by the Govemor of the Province of South Aus-

tralia, with the advice and consent of the Lcgislativc Council and

House of Asseml~ly of the said province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

Service Arnendmcnt Act, 1881," to any person in thc employ of the

South Australian Government, excluding persons in the service of

the South Austraiian railways, on the provisional allcl temporary list; but so that such leave shall only be granted on account of service subsequent to the passing of this Act.

2, This Act may be cited as " The Civil Service Amendment Short title,

Act of 1894."
