Regulation under the Civil Procedure Act 2005.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Civil Procedure Regulation 2017 to generally increase the fees payable in relation to civil proceedings and the fees payable in relation to the functions exercised by the Sheriff. Certain fees payable in connection with the provision of access to documents are not increased.

This Regulation is made under the Civil Procedure Act 2005, including section 18 (Fees).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Civil Procedure Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2018.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
