Part 1    Preliminary

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Civil Partnerships and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2018.

Part 2    Amendment of Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulation 2015

2   Regulation amended

This part amends the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulation 2015.

3   Amendment of s 25 (Information to be contained in death extract)

Section 25(e)—
omit, insert—

(e)the name of the last person, if any, to whom the deceased person was married;

4   Amendment of sch 1 (Application information)

Schedule 1, part 3, item 2(a) and (b)—
omit, insert—

(a)the name of each person to whom the deceased person was married; and

(b)the deceased person’s age at the date of each marriage; and

5   Amendment of sch 2 (Information for certificates)

Schedule 2, part 4, item 2(a) and (b)—
omit, insert—

(a)the name of each person to whom the deceased person was married; and

(b)the deceased person’s age at the date of each marriage; and

Part 3    Amendment of Civil Partnerships Regulation 2012

6   Regulation amended

This part amends the Civil Partnerships Regulation 2012.
