Civil Aviation (Savings) Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR‑GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Civil Aviation Act 1988.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Savings) Regulations.

[NOTE:

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

Interpretation

 2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“subordinate instrument” means an instrument of a legislative or administrative character made under the Civil Aviation Regulations.

Continuation of subordinate instruments

 3.If a subordinate instrument provides, in effect, that it stops being in force at the end of June 1995, then, despite that provision, the instrument continues in force according to its tenor until the end of June 1996, unless it is amended or revoked before then.
