Civil Aviation Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Civil Aviation Act 1988.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Civil Aviation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 31 (Aircraft maintenance engineer licences

2.1   Paragraph 31 (4) (c):

Omit “requires;”, substitute “requires and directs in Civil Aviation Orders;”.

2.2   Subregulation 31 (5A):

Omit the subregulation.

2.3   Subregulation 31 (7):

Omit the subregulation.

3.   Regulation 42G (Flight control system: additional requirements)

3.1   Paragraph 42G (5) (ba):

Omit the paragraph.

3.2   Subregulation 42G (8):

Omit the subregulation.

4.   Regulation 42ZC (Maintenance on Australian aircraft in Australian territory)

4.1   Paragraph 42ZC (4) (da):

Omit the paragraph.

4.2   Subregulation 42ZC (11):

Omit the subregulation.
