Civil Aviation Order 82.5 Amendment Instrument 2012 (No. 2)

1          Name of instrument

                 This instrument is the Civil Aviation Order 82.5 Amendment Instrument 2012 (No. 2).

2          Commencement

                 This instrument commences on the day after registration, immediately after the commencement of Civil Aviation Order 82.0 Amendment Instrument 2012 (No. 2).

Note   This instrument was registered on the same day as Civil Aviation Order 82.0 Amendment Instrument 2012 (No. 2).

3          Amendment of Civil Aviation Order 82.5

                 Schedule 1 amends Civil Aviation Order 82.5.

[1]       After paragraph 10.8

insert

10.9 If the pilot in command of an aircraft operated under an AOC uses an EFB as a means of complying, or partially complying, with paragraph 233 (1) (h) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988, each certificate authorising operations under the AOC is subject to the condition that the AOC holder must comply with, and ensure flight crew compliance with, the applicable requirements in Appendix 9 of Civil Aviation Order 82.0 (CAO 82.0).

   10.10     For paragraph 10.9, EFB has the meaning given to it in Appendix 9 of CAO 82.0.
