These Regulations are the
Civil Aviation (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 1) .
These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the
Gazette .
Schedule 1 amends the Civil Aviation (Fees) Regulations.
The amendments by regulation 3 do not affect the fee payable by a person for a service if:
(a) in the case of a service for which the fee is the hourly rate:
(i) CASA began to provide the service to the person before the commencement of the amendments; or
(ii) CASA agreed with the applicant in writing, before the commencement of the amendments, to provide the service at the hourly rate prevailing at that time; or
(b) in the case of any other service — the person paid the fee before the commencement of the amendments.
