1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Civil Aviation Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 2).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3Amendment of Civil Aviation Regulations 1988

Schedule 1 amends the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988.

4Amendment of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998

Schedule 2 amends the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998.

RAA Technical Manual means the manual prepared by RAA and approved by CASA, as in force from time to time, that contains:

(a) airworthiness, design and maintenance standards; and

(b) aeronautical practices, test procedures and processes.

The following provisions are amended by omitting all instances of ‘AUF’ and inserting ‘RAA’:

· paragraph 200.002 (1) (c)

· subparagraph 200.002 (1) (c) (ii)

· subparagraph 200.013 (1) (d) (i)

· subparagraph 200.013 (1) (e) (i).
