    Editorial changes

    The Legislation Act 2001, part 11.3 authorises the Parliamentary Counsel to make editorial amendments and other changes of a formal nature when preparing a law for republication. Editorial changes do not change the effect of the law, but have effect as if they had been made by an Act commencing on the republication date (see Legislation Act 2001, s 115 and s 117). The changes are made if the Parliamentary Counsel considers they are desirable to bring the law into line, or more closely into line, with current legislative drafting practice.

    This republication does not include amendments made under part 11.3 (see endnote 1).

    Uncommenced provisions and amendments

    Penalties

    1. Name of regulation

      This regulation is the City Renewal Authority and Suburban Land Agency (Transitional Provisions) Regulation 2017.

    2. Transitional—modification of Act, pt 10—Act, s 200 (2)

      The Act, part 10 applies as if the following section were inserted:

    ‘200AModification—Planning and Development Act 2007

    (1)The Planning and Development Act 2007 is modified as set out in the City Renewal Authority and Suburban Land Agency (Transitional Provisions) Regulation 2017, schedule 1.

    (2)This section expires on the day the City Renewal Authority and Suburban Land Agency (Transitional Provisions) Regulation 2017 expires.’

    1. Expiry

      This regulation expires on the day the City Renewal Authority and Suburban Land Agency Act 2017, part 10 expires.
