An Act to enable the City Commissioners to levy

City Rates for the current Half Year.	[29th

BE it enacted by t h e Queen ' s Mos t Exce l len t Majesty by a n d w i t h t h e advice and consent of t h e Legis la t ive Counci l a n d Legis la­

t ive Assembly of N e w Sou th W a l e s in th i s present P a r l i a m e n t

assembled and by t h e au tho r i t y of t h e same as follows :—

1. The Commissioners of t h e Ci ty of Sydney shall for t h e genera l purposes of t he said City collect as soon as convenient for t h e now cu r r en t half year a r a t e of four-pence in t h e pound on t h e whole of t he p rope r ty in t h e City according to i t s p resen t assessed va lue .
