Application for approval of the City of Port Phillip Enterprise Agreement 2025

Introduction  

  1. City of Port Phillip (the Employer) has made an application for approval of a single-enterprise agreement known as the City of Port Phillip Enterprise Agreement 2025 (the Agreement), pursuant to s 185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (the Act).    

Section 186, 187 and 188 

  1. I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss 186, 187 and 188 of the Act as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.  

Section 183 Bargaining Representatives  

  1. The “Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical & Services Union” (ASU), the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Australia (APESMA) and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) being bargaining representatives for the Agreement, have each given notice under s 183 of the Act that each wants the Agreement to cover them. In accordance with s 201(2), I note the Agreement covers the “Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical & Services Union” (ASU), the “Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Australia” (APESMA) and the “Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation” (ANMF).

Approval  

  1. The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s 54 of the Act, will operate seven days after approval.
