B- E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. This Act may be cited as " The City of Mackay Short title and Other Town Planmng Schemes Approval Act Amend- : ~ : ; struction. ment Act .of 1948," and shall be read as one with *" The City of Mackay and Other Town Planning Schemes Approval Act of 1934," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively ~ ollective cited as " The City of Mackay and Other Town Planning tItle. Schemes Approval Acts, 1934 to 1948." 2. (1.) The City of Mackay Town Planning Scheme Modifica.tion as defined and delineated in Schedules I. and H. to the ~i: :c~ ~t; Principal Act shall be and is hereby modified, on and Town. from the passing of this Act- ~ ~ ~~ . g (i.) By excluding from that part of the City of Mackay comprised jn "Zone 7. Farming and Dairying" as set forth in the Table of Zones appearing in the said Schedule I. and as delineated in the map of the said City appearing in the said Schedule H. ; and (ii.) By including in that part of the said City comprised in " Zone 1. Residential" as set forth in the aforementioned Table of Zones and as delineated in the aforementioned map, the land described in the Schedule to this Act. (2.) The City of Mackay Town Planning Scheme as modified by this section shall be in force on and from the passing of this Act and thereafter until the said scheme as so modified is lawfully amended, altered, '" 25 G. 5 No. 19.
