An Act to authorize the " City of Goulburn Gas and Coke Company (Limited)" to increase its capital to £50,000. [6th July, 1887.]

WH E R E A S b y a n A c t passed in the forty-second year of t h e	re ign of H e r presen t Majes ty t h e " C i t y of Goulburn Gas and
Coke Company	( L i m i t e d ) " was established and incorpora ted as a jo in t

s tock company a n d u n d e r a n d subject to t h e rules regula t ions

res t r ic t ions a n d provisions contained in t he said A c t a n d in a ce r ta in

deed of s e t t l ement bea r ing date t h e first day of J u l y one thousand

thousand pounds Be it therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l len t

Majesty by a n d w i t h t h e advice a n d consent of t h e Legis la t ive Council

and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled

and by t h e au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—
1. I t shall be lawful for the said Company to raise a n d con­ t r i bu t e a m o n g themselves or otherwise as t he said Company shall de te rmine any fu r ther s u m or sums of money by way of capi ta l or jo in t stock not exceeding in t h e whole t h e s u m of fifty thousand pounds by the issue of new shares of one p o u n d each in l ike m a n n e r as is directed in t h e said reci ted A c t and deed of se t t l ement .
2. Al l t h e powers vested in t h e directors of t h e said Company a n d al l t he provisions of t he said reci ted A c t and deed of se t t l ement as regards t h e l iabil i ty of shareholders and the cal l ing u p of the said capi tal or otherwise in relat ion there to shal l app ly in t h e same m a n n e r t h a t they would apply if t h e capi ta l of t h e said Company had original ly been fifty t housand pounds instead of t en thousand pounds.
