City of Brisbane (Finance, Plans and Reporting) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2011 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the City of Brisbane (Finance, Plans and Reporting) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2011 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the City of Brisbane (Finance, Plansand Reporting) Regulation 2010 . 3 Amendment of s 96 (Preparation and content of the budget) (1) Section 96(5) and (6)— renumber as section 96(7) and (8) (2) Section 96— insert— ‘(5) The budget must include the total value of the change, expressed as a percentage, in the rates and utility charges levied for the financial year compared with the rates and utility charges levied in the previous budget. ‘(6) For calculating the rates and utility charges levied for a financial year, any discounts and rebates must be excluded.’. 4 Amendment of s 153 (Internal audit progress report) Section 153(2)(e)(ii), after ‘taken;’— insert— ‘and’. 5 Amendment of s 155 (Audit committee meetings) Section 155(2)(b)(ii), ‘meeting,’— omit, insert— ‘meeting’.
