An Act to cont inue for a fur ther t e r m of twenty-one years the provisions of t he " City B a n k Act" whereby the City B a n k as thereby incorporated was empowered to m a k e issue circulate and reissue B a n k Notes or Bills. [19th August, 1884.]

one years to commence as the re in ment ioned A n d whereas t he said t e rm of twenty-one years will shor t ly expire and i t is exped ien t to cont inue t h e said provisions for a fur ther period of twenty-one years Be it therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l len t Majes ty by and wi th the advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in 1'arliamcnt assembled and by t h e au tho r i t y of t he same as follows :—

1. The powers conferred upon t h e City B a n k by t h e seventh section of t he " City B a n k A c t " shal l subject to the provisions in t h e said A c t conta ined be and are he reby extended and shall cont inue and remain in force for a fur ther t e r m of twenty-one years from the pass ing of th is Act .

2. This Act may be cited as the " City B a n k A c t Extens ion A c t

of 1 8 8 1 . "
