City Area Leases (Amendment) Ordinance

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the City Area Leases Ordinance 1936

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the City Area Leases (Amendment)

Ordinance (No. 2) 1983.'

Auctioning of leases

2. Section 1 3 of the City Area Leases Ordinance I9362 is amended

(b)	by omitting from sub-section (8) "Subject to the next succeeding sub-section, bidding" and substituting "Bidding";
(c)	by omitting sub-sections (9), (11) and (12); and
(d)	by omitting sub-section (13B) and substituting the following sub-section:
"(13B) A declaration under sub-section (13A) shall not be made in respect of a parcel of land on which there are improvements, and over
which the Commonwealth is prepared to accept a mortgage.".
(a)	by omitting paragraph (5A) (d) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(d) where the order includes a direction under sub-section

(3A) particulars of the direction.";
