Circuit Layouts Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and being satisfied that provision has been or will be made under the law of New Zealand under which adequate protection is or will be given to persons referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) of the definition of “eligible person” in section 5 of the Circuit Layouts Act 1989 and to circuit layouts first commercially exploited in Australia, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Circuit Layouts Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48]

 

2. Schedule (Eligible foreign countries)

2.1 Insert in the Schedule:

“New Zealand”.
