Cinematograph Films {Suspension of Provisions).

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

of Provisions) Act, 1982!\ 1. This Act may be cited as the "Cinematograph Films (Suspension

Suspension of operation of Act No. 41, 1935.

2. The provisions of the Cinematograph Films Act. 1935. shall have no effect during the period of 2 years commencing on the date of assent to this Act.

Saving.

3. A contract relating to the hiring of films which was entered into before the date of assent to this Act and which was affected by the provisions of section 11B of the Cinematograph Films Act. 1935, continues to be so affected as if this Act had not been enacted.
