CINEMATOGRAPH FILMS (FURTHER SUSPENSION) ACT

1985 NO 31—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South

Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 3 (l) (b) of the Cinematograph Films (Further Suspension) Act 1985, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 1997 as the day on which each unrepealed Act specified in Schedule 1 to the Cinematograph Films (Further Suspension) Act 1985 is, to the extent specified in that Schedule, repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to repeal certain unrepealed Acts and parts of Acts

specified in Schedule 1 to the Cinematograph Film (Further Suspension) Act 1985. The
unrepealed Acts and parts of Acts are as follows:

the Cinematograph Films Act 1935
so much of Schedule 8 to the Miscellaneous Acts (Companies) Amendment Act
1981 as amends the Cinematograph Films Act 1935
