CHURCH OF ENGLAND CLERGY PROVIDENT

FUND (SYDNEY) AMENDMENT ACT.

An Act to authorise the Church of England Synod of the Diocese of Sydney to make Ordinances changing the name of The providing for the admission of certain Clergy _ Provident Fund (Sydney) and

for purposes connected therewith. [Assented

persons to membership of that Fund; for this purpose to amend the Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Act, 1908-1941, in certain respects; and

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1 . (1) This Act may be cited as the "Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Amendment Act, 1955."
(2) The Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Act, 1908, as amended by the Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Amendment Act, 1941, and by this Act, may be cited as the Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Act, 1908- 1955.
2 . The Church of England Clergy Provident Fund (Sydney) Act, 1908-1941, is amended by inserting at the end of section eight the following new paragraphs:—

(d)	to change the name of the fund referred to in section two of this Act as "The Clergy Provi­
dent Fund ( S y d n e y ) " ;
(e)	to provide for the admission to membership of that fund of—

(i)   teachers employed in Church of Eng­ land schools;

(ii)   officials of Church of England Diocesan Registries; and

(iii)   other lay persons permanently engaged in the work of the Church of England or employed by any institution, school or organisation of that Church.
