Christmas Island Fluoridation Direction 2019

I, SUSSAN PENELOPE LEY, Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories, acting in accordance with section 8G of the Christmas Island Act 1958 and paragraph 9(1)(b) of the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Act 1966 (WA)(CI):

(a)Revoke the Direction under section 9(1)(b) - Fluoridation of Public Water Supply Direction; and

(b)Direct the Administrator to give effect to the recommendation of the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Advisory Committee of Western Australia that 0.7 mg/l of fluoride be added to the water supply of the Territory.

This Direction commences on the day after this Direction is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
