Regulations 2001

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the form of an application for endorsement of registration for the purposes of section 7A of the Chiropractors Registration Act 1996.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 88 of the Chiropractors Registration Act 1996.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
1 January 2002.

4. Amendment to the objectives

In regulation 1 of the Chiropractors Registration Regulations 19971, after paragraph (a) insert— "(ab) the form of application for endorsement

of registration of a chiropractor under

section 7A of that Act;".

5. Form of application for registration

In regulation 4 of the Chiropractors Registration Regulations 1997, for "the Schedule" substitute "Schedule 1".

6. New regulation 4A inserted

After regulation 4 of the Chiropractors Registration Regulations 1997 insert— "4A. Form of application for endorsement of

registration to practise Chinese medicine

For the purposes of section 7A(5)(a) of the
Act, the prescribed form is set out in

Schedule 2.".

7. Amendment to Schedule headings

In the Schedule to the Chiropractors Registration
Regulations 1997, for "SCHEDULE"

substitute—

"SCHEDULES

SCHEDULE 1".

8. New Schedule 2 inserted

After the Schedule to the Chiropractors Registration Regulations 1997 insert—

APPLICATION FOR ENDORSEMENT OF

REGISTRATION UNDER SECTION 7A OF THE CHIROPRACTORS REGISTRATION ACT 1996

To the Chiropractors Registration Board of Victoria
I apply for endorsement of registration under section 7A of
the Chiropractors Registration Act 1996 to practise

Chinese medicine.

* I am a registered chiropractor under the Chiropractors
Registration Act 1996.

I enclose a separate application for registration as a chiropractor under the Chiropractors Registration Act 1996.
