An Act to repeal the Act to regulate and restrict

the Immigration of Chinese. [20th November,
1867.]
WHEREAS it is expedient to remove certain restrictions which have been imposed on the immigration of Chinese into this

Colony Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1. The Act twenty-fifth Victoria number three intituled "An

Act to regulate and restrict the Immigration of Chinese" passed on the
twenty-second November one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one

shall be and is hereby repealed.

2. This Act shall be styled and may be cited as the " Chinese

Immigration Act Repeal Act of 1867."
