CHILDREN’S ONLINE SAFETY SPECIAL ACCOUNT (CREDITS TO ACCOUNT) DETERMINATION 2015

I, MALCOLM BLIGH TURNBULL, Minister for Communications, make the following Determination under subsection 73(1) of the Enhancing Online Safety for Children Act 2015.

1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Children’s Online Safety Special Account (Credits to Account) Determination 2015.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

1. Definitions

1. ACMA departmental item has the same meaning as in subsection 73(3) of the Enhancing Online Safety for Children Act 2015.

2. Children’s Online Safety Special Account has the same meaning as in section 4 of the Enhancing Online Safety for Children Act 2015.

1. Credits to Account

1. An amount of $11,155,000 is debited against the appropriation for the ACMA departmental item in the Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2015-2016 and is credited to the Children’s Online Safety Special Account.

2. An amount of $1,707,350.58 is debited against the appropriation for the ACMA departmental item in the Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2014-2015 and is credited to the Children’s Online Safety Special Account.
