Children, Youth and Families Amendment Regulations 2018
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Children, Youth and Families Regulations 2017 to prescribe—
(a)an employee of Family Safety Victoria as an information holder for the purposes of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005; and
(b)Family Safety Victoria as a service agency for the purposes of that Act.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 600 of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 26 February 2018.
4Prescribed information holder
In regulation 6 of the Children, Youth and Families Regulations 2017[1]—
(a)in paragraph (g), for "Commonwealth." substitute "Commonwealth;";
(b)after paragraph (g) insert—
"(h)an employee of Family Safety Victoria, an Administrative Office established by Order in Council under section 11 of the Public Administration Act 2004 dated 20 June 2017 and published in the Government Gazette on 22 June 2017.".
5Prescribed service agencies
In regulation 7 of the Children, Youth and Families Regulations 2017—
(a)in paragraph (f), for "Commonwealth." substitute "Commonwealth; and";
(b)after paragraph (f) insert—
"(g)Family Safety Victoria, an Administrative Office established by Order in Council under section 11 of the Public Administration Act 2004 dated 20 June 2017 and published in the Government Gazette on 22 June 2017.".
