s1 2 s4 Children’s Services Amendment (No. 2) No. 393, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Children’s Services Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 January 1997. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Children’s Services Regulation 1966 . ˙ Replacement of s 54 (Rate of payment to foster parents) 4. Section 54— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Payments to foster parents ‘ 54. For section 108 of the Act, the amount to be paid to the foster parent of a child in care for the care and maintenance of the child is— (a) for a child who is less than 2—$72.00 a week; or (b) for a child who is 2 or more but less than 6—$87.00 a week; or (c) for a child who is 6 or more but less than 11—$108.00 a week; or (d) for a child who is 11 or more but less than 16—$131.00 a week; or (e) for a child who is 16 or more—$122.00 a week.’.
