Children's Court Amendment Regulations 2022

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Children's Court Amendment

Regulations 2022.

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Children's Court

Regulations 2008.

4.           Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3:

(a) in paragraph (d) delete "section 5(1)." and insert:

responsibility for the operation of schools;

section 5(1);

(b)	after paragraph (d) insert:
(e) the chief executive officer of the department of the Public Service referred to in the School

Education Act 1999 section 228 (the Education

Department);

(f) a person holding, acting in or performing the functions of the position of Deputy Director General in the Education Department with

(g)

an officer of the Education Department considering education options for a child who is or has been charged with an offence involving harmful behaviour.
