An Act to amend the Children (Community Service Orders) Act 1987 with respect to the enforcement of children's community service orders. [Assented to 16 December 1987]

Children (Community Service Orders) Amendment 1987

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Children (Community Service Orders)

Amendment Act 1987.

Amendment of Act No. 56, 1987

1. The Children (Community Service Orders) Act 1987 is amended as

set out in Schedule 1.

SCHEDULE 1—AMENDMENTS

(Sec. 2)

Section 25 (Issue of summons or warrant—failure to comply with children's community service orders)—

(a) Section 25 (l)(a)—

Omit "and", insert instead "or".

(b) Section 25(1) (b)—

Omit "if the person does not appear in answer to the summons—".
