I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Children (Care and Protection) (Child Employment) Amendment Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1993 as the day on which that Act commences.

Note: As referred to in section 2 (2) of the Children (Care and Protection) (Child Employment) Amendment Act 1992, this Proclamation has the effect of substituting Part 4 of the Children (Care and Protection) Act 1987 and commencing that Part as so substituted. The Proclamation also has the effect of commencing amendments that repeal Part 13 of the Child Welfare Act 1939 and clause 14 of Schedule 5 to the Miscellaneous Acts (Community Welfare) Repeal and Amendment Act 1987.
