I, the Children’s Guardian, in pursuance of clause 22AA (2) (b) of the Children and Young

Persons (Savings and Transitional) Regulation 2000, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to extend the accreditation of Community Services as a designated agency to
31 August 2016.
The Children’s Guardian is of the opinion that, as a result of changes or proposed changes to the
administration of out-of-home care under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998,
it is appropriate for the accreditation to continue in effect until that date.
This Order is made under clause 22AA (2) (b) of the Children and Young Persons (Savings and
Transitional) Regulation 2000.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Community Services Accreditation Order 2016.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Extension of accreditation of Community Services

The accreditation of Community Services under clause 22AA of the Children and Young Persons (Savings and Transitional) Regulation 2000 ceases to have effect on 31 August 2016.
