His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) (Child Employment) Regulation 2010 to make amendments consequential on the commencement of the Child Protection Legislation Amendment (Children’s Guardian) Act 2013.
This Regulation is made under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act

1998, including section 264 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) (Child Employment) Amendment (Children’s Guardian) Regulation 2013.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 15 June 2013 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) (Child Employment) Regulation 2010

Clauses 5 (4), 7 (2) and 8 (2) and (3)

Omit “Minister” wherever occurring. Insert instead “Children’s Guardian”.
