Child
Support Regulations2 (Amendment)
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the Child Support (Registration and Collection) Act 1988.

Interpretation
1. Regulation 2 of the
Child Support Regulations is amended by inserting “(Registration and
Collection)” after “Support”.
Exclusion of liabilities
2. Regulation 4 of the
Child Support Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (2) “(being a liability in relation to a
registrable maintenance liability not excluded as such a liability by virtue of
subregulation (1)” and
substituting “or under section 139
of the Child Support (Assessment) Act
1989”.
