Name of determination
This determination is the Child Care Benefit (Allocation of Child Care Places) Amendment Determination (No. 1) 2000.
Commencement
This determination commences on 1 January 2001, immediately after the commencement of Schedule 2 to the Family and Community Services (2000 Budget and Related Measures) Act 2000.
3 Amendment
The Child Care Benefit (Allocation of Child Care Places) Determination 2000 is amended as specified in clauses 4 to 7 (inclusive) of this determination.
4 Amendment of subsection 3(1), definition of approved child care service
After “an approved family day care service,”, insert “an approved in‑home care service,”.
5 Amendment of subsection 3(1), definition of child care place
After paragraph (a), insert:
(aa) in relation to an approved in-home care service, one full-time place of 35 hours per week, and for this purpose one full-time place may be occupied by more than one child attending on a part-time basis;
6 Amendment of section 4
Omit the section, substitute:
4 Delegation
The Secretary may, in writing, delegate to an officer of the agency all or any of the powers of the Secretary under this determination and for the purposes of this section “agency” means the Department or the Commonwealth Services Delivery Agency.
7 Amendment of paragraph 7(1)(b)
After “approved family day care services,”, insert “approved in‑home care services,”.
