Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 .Dated 25 June 2003

These Regulations are the
Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions — Liberia) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 1) .
These Regulations commence on 7 July 2003.
3 Amendment of Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions — Liberia) Regulations 2002 Schedule 1 amends the
Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions — Liberia) Regulations 2002 .
(regulation 3)
after (2001)
insert and Resolution 1478 (2003)
omit Liberia; and
insert Liberia; or
insert
(iv) round logs or timber products being imported into Australia from Liberia; and
omit (i), (ii) or (iii).

A person must not engage in conduct that assists, or results in, round logs or timber products being imported into Australia from Liberia.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
