1Name

This instrument is the Charter of the United Nations Legislation Amendment (2018 Measures No. 1) Regulations 2018.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Charter of the United Nations (Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2008

   Regulation 4 (paragraph (b) of the definition of Sanctions Regulations)

Repeal the paragraph.

   Regulation 4 (paragraph (f) of the definition of Sanctions Regulations)

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

1. (f)

   the Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions—Iran) Regulation 2016;

   Regulation 4 (paragraphs (i) and (j) of the definition of Sanctions Regulations)

Repeal the paragraphs, substitute:

1. (i)

   the Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions—Libya) Regulations 2011;

2. (j)

   the Charter of the United Nations (Sanctions—Mali) Regulations 2018;
