By-laws under the Charles Darwin University Act 2003

1Citation

These By-laws may be cited as the Charles Darwin University (Student of the University) By-laws 2005.

2Who is a Student?

A student of the University means a person of one of the following classes of persons:

• (a)

  secondary students, which means a person who is enrolled at the University in a course of study or instruction that is recognised by the Council as being a secondary education course of study or instruction;

• (b)

  undergraduate students, which means a person who is enrolled at the University in a course of study or instruction that is recognised by the Council as being an undergraduate course of study or instruction;

• (c)

  postgraduate students, which means a person who is enrolled at the University in a course of study or instruction that is recognised by the Council as being a postgraduate course of study or instruction; and

• (d)

  any other class of person prescribed in writing by the Vice‑Chancellor for the purpose of these By-laws from time to time.
