CHARLES DARWIN UNIVERSITY (RULES) BY-LAWS 2005

By-laws under the Charles Darwin University Act 2003

1Citation

These By-laws may be cited as the Charles Darwin University (Rules) By-laws 2005.

2Publication of rules

• (1)

  For the purpose of section 47 of the Act, the rules are to be published by posting:

  • (a)

    the rules; or

  • (b)

    notice of the making of the rules and the place where copies of them may be obtained,

  on an electronic noticeboard forming part of or available to be accessed from the University’s website.

• (2)

  Without affecting by-law 2(1), notice of the making of the rules and the place where copies of them may be obtained may also be published on a notice board (if any) in the main entrance to the library in each campus.

3Repeal

The by-laws in force immediately prior to the date of commencement of these by-laws and cited as the Northern Territory University (Rules) By-laws 1988 are repealed on and from the date of commencement of these by-laws.
