Charan & Anor v Commonwealth Bank of Australia

Case

[2020] HCASL 147

CHARAN & ANOR

v

COMMONWEALTH BANK OF AUSTRALIA & ORS

[2020] HCASL 147
S50/2020

  1. An extension of time is necessary to enable this application for special leave to appeal to proceed. The application for special leave does not identify any reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. The application should be dismissed. It would, therefore, be futile to grant the extension of time required to enable the application to proceed.

  2. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
