I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section

2 (1) of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (Macquarie Sydney
Common) Amendment Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 17th

April 1998 as the day on which Schedule l (2) to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Act 1983 that inserts a new section 12E into the Act. The new section will require the Minister administering the Act to ensure that there will be plans of management for all land that comprises Trust land under the Act.
