I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (Macquarie Sydney Common) Amendment Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 20th of December 1993 as the day on which Schedule 2 to that Act, and section 3 in its application to that Schedule, commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the amendments to the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Act 1983 contained in Schedule 2 to the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (Macquarie Sydney Common) Amendment Act 1992. The amendments require the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust to establish a procedure for community consultation concerning the activities and policies of the Trust, including the establishment of a Community Consultative Committee. The amendments also provide for the appointment of a member of that Committee as a trustee of the Trust.
