AMENDMENT (EASTERN DISTRIBUTOR) ACT 1997—
PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Amendment (Eastern Distributor) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 27 June 1997 as the day on which that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Amendment (Eastern Distributor) Act 1997. Section 2 (2) of that Act provides that a provision of the Act does not take effect until the Minister for Urban Affairs and Planning has granted any relevant approval under Division 4 of Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 for the proposed Eastern Distributor in relation to land affected by the Act.
