Centennial Park and Moore Park New South Wales

Trust Amendment Regulation 1999

under the

Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Act 1983

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Act 1983.

BOB CARR, Premier

Explanatory note
At present under clause 11 (1) (c) of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Regulation 1999, the selling of tickets on Trust lands to an organised activity conducted on Trust lands is prohibited. The object of this Regulation is to provide that an offence is committed under clause 11 (1) (c) regardless of whether the organised activity concerned is being conducted on Trust lands.

This Regulation also authorises events associated with the Centenary of Federation (being events for which it is reasonably anticipated that more than 20,000 people at one time will resort to the land) to be held on Trust lands.

This Regulation is made under the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust Act

1983, including sections 20A and 22 (the general regulation-making power).
