CENTENARY CELEBRATION

(AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 57, 1929.

An Act to vest certain land vested in the Chief Minister by the Centenary Celebration Act (51 Victoria Number 9), in the Waverley Municipal Council for the purposes of a roadway; to amend the said Act; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 23rd December, 1929.]

1 . This Act may be cited as the "Centenary Cele-
bration (Amendment) Act, 1929," and shall be read
and construed with the Centenary Celebration Act (Act

2. The land described in the Schedule to this Act is

hereby vested in the Municipal Council of Waverley

for an estate in fee simple for the purposes of a roadway,

and the Chief Minister is divested of his estate in the
said land.

Any trusts, conditions, encumbrances, and dedications affecting the said land in the hands of the said Chief

Minister are hereby revoked and annulled.

PARISH of Alexandria, county of Cumberland, municipality of Waverley,
within Queen's Park, being part of area resumed under the Centenary Celebration Act (51 Vic. No. I X ) by Gazette of the 16th July , 1887. Commencing on the south-western side of Victoria-street at a point bearing 295 degrees 18 minutes 506/10 links from an angle in that road southerly of allotment 18, section l.3 of Centennial Park Lands ; and bounded thence by lines bearing 162 degrees 31 minutes 30 seconds

4115/100 links 209 degrees 45 minutes 10 chains 9116/100 links, 244 degrees 26 minutes 30 seconds 4982/100 links to the northern side of road
known as York-road, by the northern side of that road bearing
99 degrees 7 minutes 40 seconds 1 chain 6744/100- links, thence by lines

bearing 334 degrees 26 minutes 30 seconds 3449/100 links, 29 degrees 45 minutes 10 chains 853/10 links, 64 degrees 34 minutes 4985/100 links to the southern side of Victoria street aforesaid, thence by that side of that street bearing 279 degrees 3 minutes 1 chain 1559/100 links to the aforesaid angle and thence by a line bearing 295 degrees 18 minutes 506/10 links to the point of commencement—in width 100 links and variable, and containing an area of 1 acre 0 roods 26 perches, as shown by red colour on plan catalogued R. 18,014—1,603 in Department of Lands, Sydney.
