I, PROFESSOR MARIE BASHIR, AC, CVO, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 8 (2) of the Census and Statistics Act 1905, appoint 9 August 2011 as the Census day for 2011.
