CENSUS (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 29, 1940.

An Act to discontinue the publication of certain census forms in the Government Gazette; for this purpose to amend the Census Act, 1901; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 24th April, 1946.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Census (Amend­

ment) Act, 1946."

2 . The Census Act, 1901, is amended—

(a)

by omitting from section thirteen the words "after publication in the Gazette;"

(b) by omitting from section sixteen the words

(c) by omitting from section seventeen the words "and after approval by the Minister shall be published in the Gazette" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "and approved by the Minister." GLENBAWN
