[ASSENTED TO 2ND NOVEMBER, 1905.] W HEREAS it is expedient to omit the taking of the Preamble. census of the population of the State of Queens- land, which, by "The Quinquennial Oensus Act of 1875,"t is required to be taken on the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and six: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1.
