Cemeteries (Incorporation of Trusts) (Amendment)

Regulations 1998

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to vest
responsibility for the Plenty Valley Cemetery in
the Trustees of the Fawkner Crematorium and
Memorial Park and to change the name of the

Patho & Torrumbarry Cemetery Trust.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 3 and

92 of the Cemeteries Act 1958.

3. Vesting of Plenty Valley Cemetery

In the Schedule to the Cemeteries (Incorporation of Trusts) Regulations 19951, in column 2 opposite The Trustees of the Fawkner Crematorium and Memorial Park—

r. 4 S.R. No. 96/1998
(a) in paragraph (a) omit "and" where secondly occurring;
(b) after paragraph (b) insert— "(c) Plenty Valley Cemetery".

4.  Change of name of Patho & Torrumbarry Cemetery Trust

(1) In the Schedule to the Cemeteries (Incorporation
of Trusts) Regulations 1995, for the item relating
to The Patho & Torrumbarry Cemetery Trust
substitute—

"Patho Cemetery Trust Patho Public Cemetery".

(2) The trust whose name is changed by sub-

regulation (1) is the same body after as before the

change.
