AN ACT to amend the Cemeteries Act

1897-1980.

[Assented to 22 November 1982.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Cemeteries Short titie and citation

Amendment Act 1982.

(2) In this Act the Cemeteries Act 1897-1980 is Reprinted as

referred to as the principal Act.

Section 30

amended. 2. Section 30 of the principal Act is amended by deleting "certified by the Auditor General." and substituting the following

certified

(a)	where the council of a municipality is the trustee of the cemetery—by the person who is the auditor of the municipality for the purposes of Part XXVII of the Local Government Act 1960;
(b)	in any other case—by the Auditor General. " .
