Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia,
acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has
taken into consideration in accordance with subsection 8 (3) of the Cattle
Transaction Levy Act 1990 the recommendations with respect to the amounts
for the purposes of paragraphs 6 (1) (b) and 6 (2) (b),
made to the Minister by the Australian Meat and Live-stock Research and
Development Corporation, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Citation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Cattle
Transaction Levy Regulations.
Commencement
2. These Regulations commence on 1 May 1991.
Interpretation
3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary
intention appears:
“the Act” means the
Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1990.
Prescribed amounts for the purposes of section 6 of the Act
4. (1) For the purposes of
paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Act, the amount of $0.88 is prescribed.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph
6 (2) (b) of the Act, the amount of $0.19 is prescribed.
