Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has, in accordance with subsections 8 (2) and 8 (3) of the Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1990, taken into consideration the recommendations with respect to the amounts for the purposes of paragraphs 6 (1) (a) and 6 (2) (a), and 6 (1) (b) and 6 (2) (b) of the Act (respectively), made to the Minister by the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation and the Meat Research Corporation (respectively), make the following Regulations under the Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed amounts for the purposes of section 6 of the Act)

3.1   Subregulation 4 (1):

Omit “$2.58”, substitute “$2.16”.

3.2   Subregulation 4 (2):

Omit “$0.78”, substitute “$0.72”.

3.3   Subregulation 4 (4):

Omit “$0.57”, substitute “$0.48”.

3.4   Subregulation 4 (5):

Omit “$0.17”, substitute “$0.16”.
